Lander Hiott moderated two panels at the Southern U.S. Hemp Conference and Expo in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The expo brought together approximately 400 business leaders, lawmakers, government officials, and entrepreneurs. 

Lander moderated the panel on the state of industrial hemp in the Carolinas. It featured some of the most powerful influencers on the industry, including leaders from the South Carolina Department of Agriculture, the Palmetto Agribusiness Council, and the North Carolina Industrial Hemp Association. 

Lander also led a panel of lawmakers and his fellow lobbyists through a discussion of the growing support for industrial hemp in the region. That panel included the chairman of the Senate Medical Affairs Committee, three other state lawmakers, and a former U.S. attorney.
