Lander Hiott was featured in the South Carolina Hemp Farmers' monthly newsletter. 

"Lander Hiott has played a critical role in raising the profile of industrial hemp within the South Carolina Legislature," the profile said. "As a lobbyist with Parker Poe Consulting, Lander has represented the South Carolina Hemp Farmers’ Association since its creation. One of his signature achievements for our industry was working on the passage of the industrial hemp pilot program in 2017."

The newsletter article also described Lander's continuing role with hemp, which will be open to more growers as a result of a bill South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster signed into law this week.
