Washington, DC – Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce the creation of Parker Poe Federal Strategies, a bipartisan lobbying practice in the nation's capital. It is led by Ken Preede, who has over 25 years of experience in Washington, DC, helping corporations and associations achieve their public policy priorities.
Ken and Parker Poe partner Bruce Thompson will work together to expand Parker Poe's government relations services through Parker Poe Federal Strategies. Bruce leads the law firm's Government & Public Policy Practice and has over 30 years of experience helping clients navigate the halls of government, including representing clients before Congress and the North Carolina General Assembly.
"Ken has a proven track record in our nation's capital of developing and advancing strategic plans for government affairs, both at for-profit and nonprofit organizations," Bruce said. "He has also become a trusted friend over our years working together. I am thrilled to collaborate with him in launching Parker Poe Federal Strategies and augmenting our presence in DC."
"I have seen firsthand the quality of Parker Poe's representation through my work with Bruce and the firm over the past 15 years," said Ken, a former government relations leader for a Fortune 500 company, a nationally recognized not-for-profit, and national associations. "I am excited to help the firm build a full-time lobbying practice here in DC and expand its services to clients involving Capitol Hill, federal agencies, and the administration."
